"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

I know that practice makes perfect. I know that the only way to fix mistakes is to make them in the first place. But it kills me whenever i draw something and I end up picking out everything I did wrong, it makes me not want to draw any more. I'll get past it sooner or later, hopefully.
